Dr. Artem ChebotkoArtem Chebotko is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Texas - Pan American. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Wayne State University in 2008, M.A. in Computer Science from Wayne State University in 2005, M.S. in Management Information Systems from Ukraine State Maritime Technical University in 2003, and B.S. in Computer Science from Ukraine State Maritime Technical University in 2001. His research interests include semantic web data management, scientific workflow provenance metadata management, scientific workflows and services computing. He has published over 30 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings and currently serves as a program committee member of several international conferences and workshops. He is a member of ACM and IEEE. |

Samuel Morin Jr.Samuel Morin Jr. has over 8 years of industry experience mostly in the public education sector. He received his BBA in Computer Information Systems in 2006 from The University of Texas Pan American. He is currently a graduate student in the Master of Science in Information Technology program at The University of Texas Pan American with an expected graduated date of Fall 2010. Furthermore, he currently holds several industry certifications as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0, Sharepoint Server 2007, and .NET Framework 3.5 ASP.NET Applications. He is currently a software engineer at Region One Education Service Center where he specializes in software development, database administration, Sharepoint architect, and business intelligence reporting. |

My experience includes many years of consulting with organizations such as eBay, BMC Software, Wright Express, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Wisconsin Electric Power, Metavante, Trane Corporation, J.C. Penney, Concordia Publishing House, Edward Jones, Missouri Chamber of Commerce, Ralston Purina and IBM. I have also delivered technical training courses for many companies all across the United States. My interests include software engineering, object-oriented design, web application design, Java technology, open source software, semantic web and content management systems. |
